I'm skeptical as to whether we trade for George. I'm starting to not feel very optimistic about the prospect of that happening.

Lol, was it ever a high percentage? no
I felt pretty good about our chances with the lobbying from our two star players, and the potential package we could offer.

Now I feel like Neil doesn't think it's worth it, I guess we will see.

They could be gunshy because of LMA. These are the guys who sat on their hands while it was pretty obvious he wasn't going to stay.

Shams Charnia? (sp) thinks the Blazers/Nuggets/Suns are teams that have the assets to get someone LIKE PG13

This is why I never talk about prospects of getting a star player.

It's a waste of time. Just get one in the draft, or don't. No expectations. Makes the offseason a lot easier to get through.

We aren't getting any younger. I would like to see a championship before i die. I have a lot of time left but still..... prospects don't look great at the moment. So yeah, i get my hopes up that we may actually make a big fucking move for once.

Remember how awesome that Scottie Pippen trade was? I want some of that again please.

Ah. See, If I don't see a championship in my lifetime, I'm not going to be sad. If we get one, that's great. But I think that's just me not caring as much about sports as I once did. (Not that you care -too- much, just my own thing).

I'd like the see the Blazers win one, or at least go through another stretch like the end-of-the-80's, early-90's. Seen the Niners win a few SB, and most importantly, the Giants win 3 WS over 5 years, so I'm feeling good at the moment.

Bastard. I have been a raiders fan where i got to witness the raiders get smashed by the buccaneers, then go on a horrible stretch for over a decade where they were a laughingstock. I feel good about their prospects though.

And ya know, oregon state. I was attending when they won back to back baseball championships....and feel good about their odds this year.

But idk man, something about the blazers winning the title. My dad tells me how rocking portland was when we won the ship. I wanna experience that shit downtown.

At first it was only select teams are interested. Look what KD did, now every team is interested in a season rental. Probably convinced they can change his mind

Yeah, was super-rooting for OSU baseball and liked seeing Ellsbury win one there (I played against him several times in HS since we were in the same league). Hoping they win this year. Watched the Timbers win theirs, though I didn't care much, but was uber-stoked for the city. Keep hoping the Ducks can grab a BCS.

But Blazers rocking the city would be the crema.

If the Indiana Pacers are going to trade Paul George before Thursday's NBA draft, they won't be short on options.

According to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio, the team has "been contacted by just about every team, if not all." The team will now have to evaluate all offers before making a decision.

Lakers definitely scared of George going to Cleveland and staying or something

Trade Harkless, Aminu and 2 picks. Then trade Crabbe and the other pick for Love.

Lillard
C.J.
George
Love
Nerk

if we are facilitators, I wonder if Shabazz might hold some value to Indiana in the event George is traded and Teague isn't resigned as a domino, or to Cleveland some how. Lebron loves him and they seemed to miss delladova or any back up point guard. he will be a RFA the same summer as Josef and noah V. making it a fore gone conclusion that he won't be in our future. he played well and likely has positive value around the league.

It obviously didn't work out at all, but ten year old me was very pumped up when we got Shawn Kemp too. He wasn't a chemistry major, but Trade Bob was fun, and I miss the team doing things like that. That era is probably why PA is so shy about making any big trades like this now.

The Cavs getting PG would almost certainly involve a third team and Love. At this point I think us sending 2/3 picks and a player or two to Indy and getting back Love is probably the most realistic "blockbuster trade" we would be involved in. I for one would welcome Kevin Love and if we can get him for giving up two late firsts and some role players, that would be impressive.

Must get rid of 2/3 of Biebs/Turner/Crabbe

Not surprised. He's one of the top 5 players in the league IMO.
