Close to the very same menu here less the cannolis and biscuits. Homemade yeast bread, Grandma's original recipe instead... Nothing like a fine hickory smoked spiral sliced ham with a sweet potato casserole.....

For me just like Thanksgiving, a place where I don't want to be, and with people whom I don't wish to associate with. Gotta please the squeeze. Sure would prefer solitude with a fried Baloney & Cheese on Texas Toast with a glass of Coca Cola.

Endured and bull shitted my way through a 4.5 hour dinner with the squeezes family. Glad It is over. I now have a year to figure out how to evade Xmas '19.

One of my favorite sandwiches-
Oscar Mayer dogs cut in half vertically with Cheddar, mustard and horseradish.
No frying necessary....
Offer those to guests, while boiling up a pot of Saurkraut, and any light hearted guests will all the sudden have to be someplace else, or all the sudden realize they left the stove on and water running at home....
If that don't work bring a block of Bleu Cheese and tell everyone your gonna treat 'em yo some homemade salad dressing...

Family was treated to Stuffed Shells with sausage & meatballs. .....Exhale......Filet Mignon, roasted
potatoes, sautéed mushroom & onions, roasted asparagus, carrots, & beets,.....Exhale.......coffee or tea
with assorted cookies, homemade chocolate cream pie, apple crumb, 3 layer Red Velvet cake.......
open the top button on my pants and exhale!
Hope everyone had a pleasant, reminiscent Christmas Day.
Oh yes, my brother-in-law & I finished off three bottles of red wine......
Shiraz, Malbec & Merlot........and good times by all.
