I had a Merry Christmas, except for this one night. Most of my family went out to Jimmy Macs to see this Portland jazz bassist Kate Davis. She and her sisters sang and played with local awesome artists, but the whole night was obscured by this Afro'ed giant seated right in front of us... he ruined everything (see pic)

No, the multi-millionaire was pounding H2O. I stepped up and took the kids home at the first break when all the minors had to leave. My siblings & Dad had pics taken with him and his Mom. According to them he was gracious and awesome
