Lanny Davis has been a long time clinton fixer, no love for trump. If there was any way that he could keep pimping the story to an obviously biased media, then you would not see every news outlet, with the exception of CNN, walking the story back.

Lanny is dirty as the come, but he is not stupid. No way will he allow himself to get in front of a judge, or a committee, under oath and try to run with what he said.

Oh, I admit that I do nt mind playing devils advocate. I do try to stay on topic and answer direct questions. The taunts to defend Trump are tiresome.

You are free to take it any way you want but the above would be incorrect as you are well aware of how I feel about trump. Also, didn't trump hire a lawyer that represented Clinton as well?

And if there are charges, they'll be for things that aren't crimes.
And if they are crimes, they'll be crimes that shouldn't be crimes.
And if they should be crimes, then Trump will be found innocent.
And if he's found guilty, then it will be overturned on appeal.
And if it is not overturned, then new evidence will show up soon to prove his innocence.
And if new evidence doesn't turn up, it's because the deep state is hiding it.
