If you feel a post is in violation of the forum rules, you are always welcome to report it. However, someone disagreeing with you--even repeatedly, even condescendingly--is not a violation. You're still welcome to report such posts, but they will likely be left alone.

In contrast, calling someone an asshole is, in fact, a violation of forum rules. Don't do that.

No doubt in my mid that Iran wants to pull us into a much larger regional war. So the war in Gaza is just the start as Shia Iran the last thing they want is Israel & US to have any kind of agreement / relationship with Arab nations, thats a major threat to Iran. Especially if Hamas and Hezbollah are reduced. A fight with Iran Imo, unfortunately, is going to happen.

This is why I don't like debating with humans. They attack the messenger rather than the message itself. It was the main reason for all the problems yesterday. People can't handle opposing views, so the messenger is an easier target than the message is. 90+ percent of the time I am the target of someone's attack rather than them targeting the message. This is why you get attacked back. Attack me and you'll get it automatically in response. You want to get spiky... I will play it your way. Keep it to the message, and I will do the same.

Yet, it still won't matter. People will still go on opposing... opposing views. People believe I am stubborn. They are correct. But I have never met anyone more stubborn than a republican or democrat supporter. Opposing views get shoved right out the airlock, even by their best debaters. The truth will get crapped on just as hard by a democrat as it will by a republican. This is why American politics is a clusterfuck. And why you shouldn't even bother with most people who "debate" them. They picked a party... now that party owns them. So you don't truly ever get an opposing viewpoint, just their party's.
 
At least Chuck had the balls to speak some truth in the Senate. Netanyahu is absolutely an obstacle to peace.
 
As someone who had to deal with this kind of stuff when I was younger, if you keep having issues with how people are interacting with you, over and over, there comes a time when you need to accept that maybe the issue probably isn't with the other people but

I really don't want the thread to become about personalities but we have been challenged. This is why I can't take Road Ratt seriously.

He has used dubious sources, for example, praising Hamas, uncritically, without trying to verify their accuracy.

I simply get tired of nonstop videos no matter who is posting.

Many people have tried to engage in serious discussions without success. But he still attacks us for not being willing to consider his views.

He has constantly used insults, over and over. Anyone who disagrees is stupid, brainwashed, in his words "a waste of shit". In a post apparently directed at me, he used pronoun "it", I guess because I'm a lesbian? Showing his views on my community align with Hamas.

I was nurtured on Zionism. Absorbed it with my baby food, so to speak. Although I long ago broke with Zionism and absolutely condemn what Israel is doing in Gaza, I know far more about the movement than he and it is far more nuanced than he gives credit. Yes, it included racists but the majority were idealists, often socialists, who wanted to live in peace. Many were Holocaust survivors, often the only survivor in their family, with no home to go to and no country that wanted them. Unfortunately the British played divide and conquer, aided by reactionary Arab misleaders and the extremists in Zionist movement. So here we are now.

Finally, he reads every disagreement as a personal attack. I am reminded of a very old pop song with refrain "why is everybody always picking on me?" Or of Trump, who in his mind is greatest victim ever. It is tiresome.

I can't take this source seriously. I will say these oil giants are not innocent. They have destroyed portions of the Amazon, leaving behind large sludge pits (I have seen this first hand). They have polluted large swaths of ocean too, not that we aren't doing that with our garbage too.
