I'm afraid this will turn into a bloodbath. I think Israel and the US have been toying with the idea of all out war in the Middle East for decades. There was a time when we would have prevailed too, but that time has passed.

But the worst of it, is that Israel has nukes, and might not be willing to accept defeat. If they use nukes, they will likely be nuked by Pakistan. Then what?

We used to have world leaders that better understood the need to keep a lid on this type of thing. But it's like there's no one at the wheel...

I think it would be for reason of more stability/peace. No reason Iran couldn’t be a modern prosperous country. If it wasn’t for the current regime the Abraham accords would be a pillar for peace in the region.
