But it's worlds better than it was just a few seasons ago. I'd say there's certainly more C talent that SG talent, and possibly SF talent too.The state of the center position in the NBA is pretty sad right now.

I think this is probably right. The state of the center position in the NBA is pretty sad right now. I mean, look at the centers still playing in the post season: Bosh, Noah, Chandler, Hibbert, Splitter, Bogut, Perkins, and Gasol. A couple are PFs playing out of position. Four are decidedly "meh". Hibbert has potential and Gasol is good. Hardly the glory days of Robinson, Olajuwon, Parrish, a young Shaq, etc. I don't think that there's anyone out there that could be obtained that is going to dramatically impact the Blazers' future. A guy like Kaman is enough to solidify the C spot and wouldn't use up all of the cap space.
