Is Bayless out of the rotation now, or do you expect him to get traded?

No. My mind said Bayless, but my fingers did not respond. I still have faith in him. This is his defining year though. Is he just a small SG or can he handle the point. Hopefully he is working on that "Steve Nash- one handed running scoop shot" that he decided to pull out of his bag late in the year. It needs some adjustment.

His floater does too.

That would be nice, but really it's his 3 ball that's the clincher. If he shoots 45% from 3 I could care less what he can do in the lane it's gonna be 1,000,000 better then Blake.

Rice has to absolutely enjoy jerking all of your chains. This is the type of crap he thrives on!

Mike Rice thinks tomorrow is going to be a very big day for the Blazers. He knows something is up.

All of this anticipation I'm going to be completely useless at work tomorrow.

Would you please create a poll for your co-workers to see if tomorrow is different than any other day in terms of your contribution? :devilwink:

Mike Rice.... He knows something is up.

That's just your annual prostate exam Mike. Don't get (too) excited.

Seriously, this may be the first time in years I don't watch the draft. I just feel like I have been lied too and led on enough by this franchise. I can't stomach getting "Clavered" again. :sigh:

Particularly when rival teams are making "Lawson for peanuts" type moves.

K. We will let you know at what point and time we get Chris Paul. ;)

I still like Rubio. I don't know why NOH would give up Collison.

I guess that, in order of what I'd call "big" and "semi-plausible":
1) CP3. Duh.
2) Getting the #2
3) Maneuvering for #4 and Rubio
4) #6 and Steph Curry.

Getting 10 from IND, or 16 from MIN, or 23 from MEM, or 32 from MIA now wouldn't give me a super-tizzy. :dunno: Though if we stand relatively pat (LOL!), I'd like to see us come up with Pondexter somehow.
i still like rubio too...what is minnesota wanting for him? i worry about his attitude tho

Oden for Rubio/4? Then take Cousins? Or flip the 4 for someone/something else.

Yeah it's a risky move for them (Oden's injuries) but also for us (Rubio's risk he won't come over).

We could groom Rubio behind Miller (a PG not a ton different in style/body type) or make a power play for Steve Nash (and the contract of Barbosa?).

^^not a big fan of trading Oden...though I've been begging for Nash since we drafted Telfair. :(

I don't believe that Rice knows anything specific for a second... but I am going to watch the draft whether he hypes it up or not :)

Ed O.

Arguably the worst trade idea I've seen on this forum.

Rubio would probably be the worst fit at PG with Nate as coach.

I can't see a team in the NBA that Rubio will lead to a title if he isn't harnassed to some degree.

He won't fit with Nate, that's for certain. He also wouldn't fit with Pop, Phil Jackson, Jerry Sloan, or Doc Rivers, either.

Maybe D' Antoni could win 50 games with him? It would be exciting!

It's sad that we have to simply disregard even looking at a talented player because his skills don't fit with our coach's mantra. A good coach can adapt and maximize his players' talents regardless of specialty, where as our coach seems to have defined roles for what he wants. Makes KP's job a lot harder.

Just the Rising Star, the Super Cup, Copa del Rey and the EuroLeague Championship. His team went 31-3 and yet he looked bad as his team lost in the Spanish league finals. He was All-League and finished 2nd in MVP behind Tiago Splitter.
