One was a slap.

The other by a pro boxer that would get charged at a higher degree because he is a pro boxer.

If the other guy asked for it.

Act the fuck up, get smacked the fuck up.

I agree.

But a boxer has to have more restraint since they are trained to hurt people. Tyson be wildin' out. And I love Tyson.

I absolutely hate drunk obnoxious people on plane too.

He showed restraint in that he didn't kill the jackass.

This happened a few weeks ago. You have to be pretty bad to provoke Tyson. Dude just wanted to chill in his seat on the plane and the clout chasing asshat deserved the beat down

It's a good point, but as I said before the fact the guy wasn't seriously injured is pretty clear evidence Tyson wasn't really trying to hurt him. If Tyson was the first to escalate things to violence, he will still be in legal trouble. If the other guy assaulted Tyson first, pulling his punches might allow Tyson to claim self-defense.

Right or wrong, don't fuck with Mike Tyson.

Or anybody else for that matter. There seems to be this strange disconnect in today’s society where people think that just because assault, battery or even murder are illegal, that some crazy fuck won’t inflict one of these things on you if you fuck with them. Getting fucked up is a real world possibility. Most of us learned this on the playground, some didn’t.

Oh yes, the playground.

I was in an airport lounge with (well, near - not with) Mike Tyson once. I kept my distance and didn't make eye contact.

So now because I can fight and have been trained to fight and I'm in shape enough to whoop pretty much anyone I come across I am being held to a different standard than someone else? If the guy enters my space and is drunk or threatening in any way I should be allowed to correct the situation. Even more so if my kid is present.
You simply cannot compare this situation with Will Smith. Mike Tyson had every right to set things straight. IMO he did it in a very measured way.

Lol this is the hypocrisy i'm talking about.

If it’s an old lady and she hits him with her purse it’s all good but because it’s Mike Tyson he is supposed to sit and take it.
Not at all. If someone is provoked sometimes people need to be smacked.

The laws totally infer that someone trained in fighting would be charged harder than Joe Schmo if they hit someone.

Someone being annoying and throwing a water bottle isn't as bad imo as someone making fun of a medical condition of your child or spouse though.

I'm not saying what Mike did wasn't warranted. Not at all. I just find it funny people are praising Mike but were condemning Will.

This was hashed out many times by me in the other thread, so don't really want to go round and round again on it.

All in good fun. We all have different opinions.

I can agree with that
