What's going to happen to Darius Miles and Zach Randolph are these two players who have a bad stigma attached to them going to get traded or not?

If Yes where and who for?
If No will they sit on the bench so the younger players can develop or will they start?

they wont be on the bench. randolph is an all-star calliber player. Miles wont sit, but he will likely be a 6-7th man.

though, i do think that they should be moved

They can't go forward with Miles on the team. He would take time away from guys like Roy. I could see Randolph staying, but they need to trade Miles.

I think they're both going to get traded. It's going to be tough to move them though. Each are on huge deals that'll eat up cap space and neither have been known to have the greatest attitudes and work ethics in the world. The Blazers are going to have to throw together some enticing packages and probably take on at least one bad, overpaid contract in order to get rid of one of them.

^^agreed, they are gonna get screwed, but it will be the best for the franchises future.

Those two are probably the Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis of Forwards. Nobody wants them and your stuck with both.

I'm inclined to think the Blazers want one or both gone but will settle for one. Maybe whoever's left will know to act right as he is alone.

If i was the GM for the Blazers, I would have to trade them both. Randolph obviously has a much better value than Miles but I'm sure someone would trade for them. Call the Knicks or something

By the end of the summer, I really think Miles will be gone, but Randolph will not. I think the Blazer organization with hang on to Z-Bo a little longer.

Both put up good numbers from last season. They'll probably try and trade both... I'm guessing some team will take atleast one of them, both their contracts are pretty big. Probably Miles.

Miles has more value IMO. He's cheaper and can produce for what his salary is worth. Last year at the start of the year he was amazing averaging like 17 PPG? Filling up the stats sheets before he went down with an injury. Rumors had him an Jaric trading places, though it's just a rumor, KG could get Miles to play to his max. Jaric on the other hand, I'm not sure bout him in Portland after his performance last year.

Randolph has a huge maximum contract and will be harder to trade. Really, can you think of a team that would want him for his price, plus his attitude and production? I honestly can't think of one. Maybe Philly if somehow they unloaded Webber and got good value back from another team for AI, but I doubt it.

Id really like to see them hold onto Randolph. He may be a little trouble, but he doesnt have the track record Darius does, and they are more full at Darius' position.

I dont see the Blazers holding on to D-miles and Randolph. They want out and I think that it is time for a change in Portland. Getting rid of these two players would help rebuild our reputation.

Miles had a great season, a few injury issues. But what a great game he has! Hopefully they will trade him to a real team! Randolph is a fatas$ who needs to get in shape, if not, more injuries for that fat bastard will be the result.

Miles is a badas$ all the way.

I have no idea about the salaries or anything like that but what about a d-miles, or randolph trade for c-webb??

Answer_AI03 - C-Webb to portland? I don't think philly would want both randolph and miles.

LRVBADASSBALLIN - Miles is good and like you say if he got put on the right team he could be more effective.

Miles was going to have a breakout year if he didn't get hurt IMO

as 4 Z-bo he needs to get traded but not for C-webb. def not c-webb

yea it is.

i would Trade Zack 4 a Vet. but not C-webb. unless this is his final year of his Contract

Sorry, but i dont get it Z for zach, and Bo for ???? anyways, u guys just need to lose these guys. They will be hard to move, but you have a solid young core, and these guys are just gonna hurt their developement.

I don't think Miles will be that hard to move. He was having a breakout year last year until he went down with knee surgery. It was his first major altercation or incident in his NBA career with a coach/team, and I don't think its a coincident that it happened with the Blazers.

Randolph on the other hand, is a very good player, he lacks on the defensive end, and sometimes falls in love with his jumpshot, but he's really tough to stop in the post. I believe I brought up a C-Webb for Randolph type trade, it would benefit the Blazers for sure. Webber has 2 years left on his contract, and would be easy to trade after next year due to his large expiring contract. Plus he can still play, and will buy time for Aldridge.

As for Randolph on the Sixers, when wasthe last time they had a low post scorer like him? Maybe that's the missing part of the team, because Tim Thomas, Tyronne Hill, KVH, Webber, McCullouch, Coleman, Deke, Dalembert among others haven't really done much for them in terms of scoring in the paint. Though, I'm not sure how the whole Cheeks and Randolph thing would workout though. I think Randolph will realize how he should be thankful to have a coach like Cheeks after what happend last year with McMillan. Randolph + AI = lots of money, but the Sixers have to do something significant to get this team to win.

but u gotta remember Z-bo will want to ball alot more then C-Webb did

At the end of the 04-05 season Darious Miles had that 47 point 12 rebound game, he's got potential and was having a nice 2005-2006 campaign. You should keep him for at least another year and see what happens. Randolph makes about 11 million, C-Webb.... about 20. Tough luck there. It would have to be Z-Bo and some other scrub to make the salaries match.

He has one year after this one. i dont see how it would really be that bad of a trade, except randolph isnt that tough inside, wich is what the sixers need.

If The Blazers can trade Zach for someone like Allen Iverson or even a good good starter it will be great,BUT if they cant they should definetly keep him for one more season.
I see Lamarcus as a 7 points 6 rebounds kinda guy, we need Randolph in case our rookies will need time to ajust...i find it hard to believe that zach's Value can go any lower.

I wont mind if we'll trade Miles for an expiring contract because even if he'll lead the team the team will still lose plus i hate Small forwards who cant shoot :-)

^^^Wow same with me i hate small Forwards with no Jumper as well

But D-miles had developed a Decent Mid Range jumper..........................................he did

Can't wait to see where Miles goes, if anywhere. He's a baller. His only downside are his ft's. And maybe his attitude.

I like the Sixers trade proposition, Dalembert and Randolph would hide each other's weaknesses well. Pulling off a trade would be tough though.

Just for fun:

Zach Randolph, Darius Miles, Juan Dixon, and a filler (player, pick, cash, w/e)
for
Vince Carter, Jeff McInnis (1 yr left in contract), Antoine Wright, and a filler

Would Blazers fans be interested?
