Darius Miles signed with the Celtics this week and his play could affect the financial situation for Portland.

If Miles plays 10 games for the Celtics, the remaining $18 million of his six-year, $48 million salary goes back on Trail Blazers’ books.

That would suck :D

Anyone who is good with the Blazers and their cap situation and whatnot can tell me what changes Portland would then have to make or whatever.

I'm pretty sure Ainge would be blackaballed by some of the other gm's in the league for doing such a stunt.

Even if he does sign on and play (which I find doubtful because his knee is completely shot), I always thought the Blazers would use Raef's expiring contract midseason instead of actually using the cap space.
