I have to say that I was very unsure about how Miller fit in with this team during the first couple of months of the season and I was even a little put off by his attitude because he didn't really seem to care or that he had already mailed it in around November/December.

That said, I absolutely love this guy! And it all made sense to me the first time I heard him in a post game interview. Keep in mind that I'm out of state and don't get any of the local coverage; NBA League Pass allows for the one short interview right after the game then it cuts out. I can't remember which game it was (probably the 52 pointer against Dallas) that I saw him interviewed and he's got this high pitched little voice, seldomly makes eye contact with his interviewer, hardly ever looks into the camera and spends most of the time just looking around. It's almost like he's embarrassed to get the attention. He did the exact same thing tonight when Craig Sager (sp) interviewed him.

It just reiterates what a lot of the other teams commentators said about Andre all year - that he's a quiet guy, doesn't say much, keeps to himself, is hard to understand or warm up to . . . but the guy just balls every night! I'm so glad he had that blow up with McMillan otherwise Blake would still be starting in Game 2 on Tuesday! I just love this guy! It's kind of fittingly ironic that with all the injuries this year, we signed the NBA's reigning Ironman and he's helped us keep it together all season long! I don't know where this team would be without him this year!

He's about to pass Tiny Nate Archibald, too. Nate once had a 35 PPG / 15 APG season - perhaps the best offensive season from a PG ever. Too bad his career was ruined by injury. He came back, but as a shadow of his former self.

Sometimes Miller reminds me of Rod Strickland. When both were signed (in both cases, relatively late in their careers) I was pretty lukewarm, but they both won me over by getting to the rim whenever they felt like it. And giving the team whatever it needs/needed on a particular night.
