Or if they aren't successful, the Bad Hops.

I love the name and logo, hate the colors.

I just want a hat with that logo on it!

They should call them The Hills-Burritos!

I hope they sell premium beer brands.

So sad on so many levels

Bud Light was the number one selling beer in the world for the longest time ( before China's "Snowbeer" passed it up. )

And for the longest time, Oregon provided over 50% of the hops in Bud. The team name represents the region well.

It's more about the single A part of it and the colors. The name is pretty bad as well.

I live in a town with 81 thousand people and this is our minor league baseball stadium

Portland simply has to think bigger

Portland simply has to think bigger

Why does Ptd have to think bigger?

You imply Ptd has some kind of complex to Seattle and tries to be like them. Then you say they have to think bigger? Should they try to be like NYC?

Sports fans do not dominate Ptd community. Many enjoy the small city feel, the livablity of downtown Ptd and the fact there are few sports teams. I think in Texas the thinking is the bigger the better, but out here, bigger is not always better. In fact many think big is bad and want anything but to become LA or Seattle.

Portland is a large city with small thinking people running it. They are anti business and growth. The city is already big and getting a larger stadium would make it nothing like LA or Seattle

You dont even live here! You know nothing! :devilwink:

Maybe if they had jobs that could support a man with 6 kids and a man-cave...he's not union, you know... :devilwink:

Wouldn't it make it like LA or Seattle in the sense that they'd all have larger stadiums?

Not just Seahawk colors but Mariners and Sounders colors. I like the name and the logo is alright but I agree the colors should be different, then again that team should be Vancouver, but the people there are just as shortsighted as Portlanders.
