Yep. Same dude, and that 2009 year is probably accurate. Little birdie told me about this thread, so I thought I'd pop in. Not here for a long time, though. Definitely a little busier with my career and life in general. Still making time for Blazers, Ducks, Timbers, etc., go to games frequently, and keep up-to-date with the chatter on Twitter mostly. More of a listener than a contributor anymore, unfortunately.

Nice to see some familiar names here. Hope all you guys are well.

Supposedly, you can make a quick recovery - if the rumors are true, Papa barely missed a beat with the same alleged infliction.

Of course, the person that clearly had the issue is rumored to have left this world for good. So who really knows.

glad to hear all is well. Serious about buying you beer by the way. I have been head over heels in love with the club since that 09 USOC match you strongly recommended we go to.

Twitter does seem to be the medium for PTFC talk since SCUSA was put down (RIP)

ps... if you are Pong or Vato then my wife is terrified of you lololol.

Yup, an acknowledged lurker, but I don't post here because my timing just sucks. By the time I get on the board and read a thread, the subject has been beaten to death so why bother.

I am a thread killer. Watch and see. Once I post this ... thread is dead.

I miss ProudBlazerFan. Last I saw he had a serial soap opera going on the BBB OT board, telling us every detail about his divorce and unsuccessful dates. Before that, 10 years ago, he was the biggest anti-Whitsitt guy on ESPN. He e-mailed the team a lot. He and his friend JHoops disliked me for liking the GM and players. On the S2 board, JHoops rarely posts, but I say hi and we're friendly. I haven't seen PBF here but maybe he posts secretly under a different name. I'd like to say hi to him.

Another guy I miss is Maris. He only posts to OT and predictions now. On ESPN he posted mainly his basketball opinions. He was the first one to advocate replacing Cheeks, a prescient vision, and everyone slowly jumped on his bandwagon. He now posts a little to the basketball side, but the board would be improved with a more rounded Maris returning to the basketball side as well as OT. He used to have a lot of interesting basketball opinions.

And of course Magnifier. And OddEnormous was funny. I carried on an odd relationship with him, screaming when he made his infrequent returns, about how scary he was. Others opposed him as a troll while I liked his weirdness. He couldn't figure out whether I was his ally or enemy. That's how I like it.

Sports message boards are the best entertainment there is!!! Damn, this is fun.
