This thread is pretty questionable in terms of being allowed on the forum.

At worst it's bashing those who use grindr. Which shouldn't be acceptable at all.

I don't know, it looked to me like it was mocking one specific non-forum member who uses both grindr and an Arby's card.
Seems to me if we can bash Dame we can bash that guy, whoever he is.

Oh, I see. I didn't actually know what grindr's demographic was, on account of being old and out of touch.
So now H.C.'s objections at least make some sense to me now, although I still think the guy with the Arby's card deserves mocking.

I see where you're coming from; my only counter is that the focus seems to be not as much on the demographic so much as those who might decry said demographic publicly yet practice the same privately. Ie, the issue isn't with the action, but with the (presumed) hypocrisy.
 
And in all reality, dude is being charged with prostitution. Whether the prostitution was gay or straight doesn't actually have any bearing on the crime with which he's being charged.

I am curious how Fez would know his political affiliation though. Doesn't seem to be mentioned in the article.

I completely understood the hypocrisy before posting. As well as the arby's card humor.
However that doesn't change the fact that Fez is looking to bait a reaction out of.... as he puts it butthurt republicans.
Pretty sure it was stated by @SlyPokerDog that the forum doesn't need this kind of wins anymore.

Fez is doing the exact same thing Maris/Marazul, and others do. Bait the otherside into getting as he put it. Butthurt.
If you people truly want the drama to stop, want this place to be an all inclusive place. Want people to be willing to show up to the meet & greets or not have issues giving away 10 tickets to forum members for a Blazer game.... Then the baiting and pretending higher than thou need to stop.

Not to mention that he's mocking a man for being at the very least bisexual.(irregardless of his poor financial decision) Pretty small minded of him.

You know what...you've convinced me. The parallels between this thread and the MMA threads are legit, and since Sly locked the one, it's not unreasonable to do the same here.
 
I'm not going to unlock the thread but I would have changed the thread title. IMO what some are upset about in this thread is not grindr or the preacher, it's that all GOP members/conservatives are being painted with the same brush.

@Fez Forthright there is was nothing wrong with your post, it was the title.

@PtldPlatypus you did nothing wrong when you closed the thread, I changed the title, if you agree then you can reopen it. Or we can just let it die.
