Re: Mo signs with Mavs

I wonder if this is an agent's clever way of trying to put pressure on the Blazers to give Mo an 3 yr deal . . .

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

Edit: Ha! Not sure how I posted twice.

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

Uhhhhh, the mavs have cap space, they don't have the bae to use.... They will have the room exception like we did last year. These rumors are stupid, thanks a lot sly.

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

So is this official? Can we celebrate yet at the thought of not having Mo Williams on the team?

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

steve blakes dad was at clubsport telling everyone that steve wants to be in portland and only portland. would accept bae...so..dont be suprised if steve blake is our back up PG. i think having a veteran PG next to will and cj would be good for them. i actually like the lineup of blake cj will trob and kaman

I would love Blake as a back up... not a starter. FU NATE!

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

Still waiting for sly to try and secretly change the title of the thread to something a little less "I am extremely incorrect"

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

There are many better options than Steve Blake and Kirk. Kirk is awful these days. Ramon Sessions, DJ Augustin (Probably can't get him for the BAE), Jameer Nelson and Beno Udrih. From what I understood Beno almost became a Blazer before Olshey realized he could have Mo for very little money. So, I wouldn't be surprised if Beno is the guy.

There are already reports we reached out to see if Blake was interested. It's blake if it isn't Mo

Well, this is embarrassing for SlyPokerDog. SlyPokerDog is a dummy. I mean, SlyPokerDog can't even read the twitters right.

How does it feel on the receiving end?

I did not edit that post. Minstrel only made look like I had edited it.

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

Not only cant we attract anyone, we cant keep email now.

That would be terrific! Another guy I haven't seen in a couple years, but I always thought he had a good game.

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

Udrih isnt better than Blake.

I'll never understand blazer fans.

Hate the better player in Mo.

But love udrih and really want him even though he is a worse player

Per36: Comparable APG/RBG/TPG. Better PPG than Blake, worse than Mo. Best FG%.

He seems clearly better than Blake. Since I put a premium on FG% I'd say he's better than Mo, too - but that one is certainly arguable.

I just recall him being fairly good when he was with SAC - but that was a long time ago. I honestly don't know what his game looks like now.

Sure, buddy. Not sure why you're trying to shield the intended target of my abuse.

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

Mo and Lillard are similar type of players. Blake is a pass first point guard who I think can show Lillard how to get the ball to his teammates in better positions to score. Lillard is still learning and developing his game and I think there is more he can learn from Blake than he can Mo.

Lillard could also learn from Andre Miller, dre has one of the best post up games for a point guard in the NBA. He also has great court vision for tossing the alley oop.

What's Miller's status? I'd take him back in a heartbeat...

Who cares about career. Look at them now.

Re: Mo signs with Mavs

I'd love a return of Professor Andre Miller.

Boy, if Miller returned to Portland, I'll really miss PapaG being gone...

No, The Peoples Champ should be learning from Dre.
