Cuttino Mobley has failed the physical administered after he and Tim Thomas were traded to New York in exchange for Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins.

The delay was earlier described as a "paperwork" matter but it was revealed that the Knicks were investigating concerns about the condition of Mobley's heart.

Mobley will meet with another doctor on Tuesday.

The Knicks are not expected to void the deal. A team may waive the requirement that a player pass his physical to complete a trade.

Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins were forced to sit out Monday's game waiting for the trade to become final.

I'm pretty sure they are going to do that. Hopefully Walsh is able to milk the Clips for more though.

If we can somehow get a first rounder from them I will be more than satisfied. I'll be cool with the more realistic second rounder, or even Camby.

Walsh is probably going to try and milk this and get something more out of them.

If all else fails though, he'll waive the physical. He knows neither of these two guys are going to be here in the long term and more than anything else, he wants to rid of Randolph.

From what I read on Yahoo, it looks like Mobley has played with this heart condition his entire career.

They should stall, make this some type of three way trade where Luol Deng goes to the Clippers and Kaman goes to the Bulls, and Tyrus Thomas goes...well who cares where he goes as long as it's off the Bulls.
