Thanks to kjironman and Stren for the votes of confidence but I would have to read too many posts that I don't want to read, so I wouldn't work out. To mags.....if a game thread ruins my enjoyment of a game, I click out and comment after the game. I remember you once said you'd never post in a game thread again....bit of projection there Rudy. I'd have to unignore a poster that I want to ignore..just wouldn't work out.
Now for my nominations.
dviss...we need diversity and balance. He's a ref. Bright guy.
Boob no more...the voice of reason
Fonzthecat...just a quality poster and also pretty level headed.
What I don't want is a mod that is panic attack prone..you guys know that list.

I wouldn't mod if you paid me!!!! I can stay out of game threads all I want. A mod cannot, therefor I said you weren't a good candidate. Obviously you don't think so either

Mods don't really usually hang out for game threads here anyway. Sly does more than most. A lot of members I've enjoyed reading have dumped the game threads and they have pretty much turned into scapegoat fests. It's too bad because my mindset is that a game thread is a place to cheer for your team. I believe in leading by example. Make me laugh, build some momentum from the tipoff and I'm there, tell me we're going to lose in the first quarter and I'm not going to hang out and argue for long.
 
I mean, I'm not the best at talking about basketball, but I hang around here too long, logged in or not. If you really can't come up with someone better like Platypus, Boob, or BDS94, I could be a back up option.

I enjoy yardwork... One of my favorite quotes is "Why would anyone do drugs when they could just mow a lawn?"

As long as denny isn't gonna watch me and play prairie dog with his belly button I'd be down.
 
I say we bring back Rudy and make him a mod.
On second thougbt I might still be super depressed and irrational from seeing Wes go down

Definitely appreciate a few of you mentioning me, but I don't really see myself as much of a content creator (my anti-Blake thread notwithstanding).

I throw my support behind both BDSMFan and Strenuus, and also echo riverman's endorsement of the Fonz.
