I gave you an example of work that has nothing to do with personal insults that I have complained about in the past.

When did I say its hypopcritical for you to say that? I said ?Im not upset(in general, overall) and just pointing out the hypocrisies, that isn't saying your statement was hypocritical at the moment.

Making a statemnt that its alot of work to me isnt complaining.

Coming into an issue and saying "geez guys I have to clean this up again?" is complaining.

OB…...safe space being compromised....? I come here for fun dude..you are not helping the cause....you seem to have distinct detailed mod requirements and needs that I wouldn't waste my time thinking about...if it's important do it man...open a website...I NEVER SAID LEAVE.....I said design one that you can support. I always think of you as a regular here but you have brought a fair share of angst to Sly over what using the forum tools would solve.....and it will solve them. Ignore HCP.....I ignored Cippy 75% of the time he was here. I don't need a support group for feeling cool......reading posts around here affirms it for me!

A lot of times I say that as letting everyone know that dad is here and to quit with the bullshit.

It's just a much nicer way of saying it.

And no, I don't think I'm the forum dad since you're looking to pick apart everything I'm saying today, lol.

It's a much nicer way of saying the forum sheriff has sauntered into the bar and you mangy cowpokes need to knock off with the personal insults.

I also will say something like, This is why we can't have nice <insert the subject matter of the thread that is melting down here> threads.

People sometimes will argue and argue and argue until staff shows up. It's my way of trying to get everyone to stop so I can get caught up and delete the BS from the thread and then try to reboot the conversation back into a healthy direction.

And since we're talking about Sly's moderation secrets I will often post something that will turn two people who are arguing with each other into anger at me. It's kind of forum team building. "We hate each other, BUT NOW WE HATE SLY MORE!"
