Free Agent Monroe to Bucks

This is why having cap space in Portland really isn't such a big deal. It is WAY out West to an East coast guy like Monroe and certainly isn't a big market.

Or a great day depending on how you look at it.

If we give the playing time in 2015-16 to the youngsters and we get a nice lottery pick, do we have a better shot at a title than we do being the Phoenix Suns of the past couple of years?

Tell Aldridge he can walk.

Rebuild this bitch. We got nice pieces. A solid draft this coming year and some player development and we can be right back in the thick of things in a couple years.

I don't think he'll like playing for Pops. He actually makes you play defense or he'll scream at you.

It's kind of funny to be beaten to a free agent by The Milwaukee Bucks. Not Houston. Not Dallas. Not LA. Not Miami. Possibly the least glamorous franchise in the NBA.

I guess... good for them? They've had a hell of a time.

(Of course, I'm kind of relieved, because I didn't think Monroe was a good fit, but it is still a bit surprising.)

For all we know everyone walked out of the Blazers/Monroe meeting agreeing he wasn't a good fit in Portland too.

What a new low for our franchise.. Olshey sucks
