Free Agent Monroe to Bucks

I feel bad as a fan, but I kinda feel worse for Paul Allen. Dude's got all this money, a desire to win, a rabid fanbase, but no one wants to take his money.

What more can he do?

Move the team to Seattle? :dunno:

I am a big fan of GA and he is four years younger than Lillard. Not due for a big contract for a season longer than Lillard. Betting his offensive game would be easier to fix than Damian's defensive game. Not for sure either team would trade if the other offered the other straight up though.

I thought the Bucks were terrible in the series against the Bulls. What made them look good was how poorly the Bulls matched up. Young bigs killed the Bulls all season, and the Bucks already had a couple that were difference makers. Henson for one.

Bummer, but good for the bucks. I like that a small market team like that draws a quality free agent.

Don't give the man any ideas. I wouldn't begin to know what hitting rock bottom feels like as a professional sports owner but I have to believe this isn't too far off...

I'm feeling pretty low. You have to wonder how he is feeling,

The Bucks are a more desirable FA location than Portland. FML.
The east is a more desirable place for up and coming stars that want a shot at the playoffs and allstar nods. The west is just packed with competition for everything from minutes to accolades

Shocker. Big name FAs won't come to Portland, meanwhile we are letting all of our own FA's walk out the door or they are running out of it to get away.

Very small sample size. The Blazers did not look very good against Memphis either.

Is it possible that MIL gave him an ultimatum? As in, make your decision in the next hour or the offer is off the table?

And the wait for Aldridge's punk ass to make a decision took too long? Fuckin hell, man

Players have teams by the balls in the FA process. Not the other way around. If a team really wants a player they aren't going to give him an ultimatum.

Monroe wanted to play in the playoffs. That will happen for sure in Milwaukee. Good for them, outside of Portland, they're probably my favorite team.

Agreed, good for them. Always had a soft spot for Milwaukee.

Not so bad that Monroe chose them over the big city teams - we gotta stick up for our small market brethren!
