I hear ya buddy. Sometimes the days just seem so long now, lol.
The first thing I noticed when i retired was in the winter I found there were days I didn't have enough going on. And I even have a routine of hitting the gym every morning.
I have volunteered several times to help with the boredom buty now I find I spend alot of time on here...which I enjoy.

I picked up a hobby of rebuilding laptops a few years back and keeps me busy buying, fixing and selling laptops during the winter. I was surprised how easy it was to pickup as I was use to working on cars, especially when my dad had his shop.

I’ve got an old laptop that could use a speed upgrade. Maybe drop a hemi into it?

I'm a Ford guy. Would a 427 side oiler work instead? I actually had one in a extremely rare 1968 Mercury Cougar. Stock 390hp but warmed over it was closer to 425hp. Scary fast.

You're not supposed to wear the speedo outside when you get back!

Well crap, I wish you’d told me that earlier. Now I’m going to have to go back anyway. My testicles clenched up so tight that they climbed out of my scrotum and flew back without me.

That's why I prefer to let my wife carry mine in her purse. That thing is like a black hole--nothing escapes!

Solid State Drive
Yeah SSD's are amazing, and getting so cheap. All of my PC's and laptop's have at least a 500gb SSD and a 1TB HDD. I'm starting to get to the point on my main Laptop and PC that I may need to double both of them though because files are just getting so big these days...

In a way i agree with him wholeheartedly.
The Blazers are entertainment when all is said and done. Sure he can blame Stotts but right now the team is on the upswing and i am going to enjoy that.
I think he brings up an interesting question in regards to, how much does winning matter when it comes to our sports teams, most of us have been through some bad years. I find it odd that there is still a lot of angry fans a few games into a year they had good playoff success, but it's interesting like what keeps bringing us back, there are certainly days they are more entertaining to watch than others.

Hey man still in Vegas? Doing any trail riding at Mt Charleston?
Yessir. Still here. We've been bicycling in Boulder City and Lake Mead. There are amazing paved trails and mountains to ride there. My wife is becoming a machine. She's 44 and is actually going to become a part time personal trainer and keep her job as a GM for a hair salon franchise. She's unbelievable.

I just don't live and breathe the Blazers or NBA at all anymore. I used to take it seriously. It's entertainment now. As soon as it became work it was no longer any fun at all. I really don't care enough to worry about it though. I will go watch my team and root for them when i want and how i want. When i have other things going i won't. In my opinion it's why there are constant disagreements on the site. Very different levels of participation and involvement.

I bet you get to see some cool wildlife on those trails.

Absolutely. Tons of BIG frigging jackrabbits. I thought it was a coyote when I first saw one move.

My wife saw a cool tarantula last weekend. She showed me a pic of it. I've only seen 2 here in all these years and this one dwarves both.

As a participant, I played hard and played to win. As a fan, I have learned to look at it as entertainment and I have no control over what the team does and when the game is over I move on. I love winning as much as anyone, but there is enough stress in life and no need to carry losses any further.
