OT "Most Likeable" players

Welcome to our community

But this is of course a bogus poll. For example, someone like Rasheed gets ridiculously disparate responses - opposing fans would hate him (and some of ours, too) whereas his teammates loved him (except maybe Sabas).

Pau Gasol? He's one of my most hated players in NBA history.
Joel Embiid should be much higher on the list.

I like that Dame, CJ and ET are all ahead of Lebron...other than that my list would be quite different...I can go with Dirk as number one but the list seems to be star driven....where's the Will Barton and Ed Davis? I also think Boban should be top 3

It really depends on the audience. I bet journos like players that teammates don't necessarily (Damon Stoudamire, anyone?)
So there should be a different poll for Teammates, Opposing players, fans and journalists.

I think Olshey has done a mediocre job, at best, of assembling a roster

but he certainly has done a great job of assembling a roster of likable guys...even the guys that drive fans crazy with their play. ET and Meyers are classic examples. You can't help but like them as people. It's a high character roster

I mean, wouldn't just about everybody be completely shocked if any of them ended up on a police report? And we even have an international fugitive on the roster who is extremely likable. I guess though that Nurkic might not be likable to a lot of fans in other teams....but that makes him lovable in Portland

Liked by who? The media? Fans? Other players?

Interesting that 8 of the top 10 are all furriners.

I would have a great time hangin with Steve Adams.
Seems to be a very likable and easy going chap.

Lance Stephenson and Rajon rondon? Lol

He'll never make a list like this, but I've got to give props to Kyrie Irving.

A young lady for whom I am very fond plays college hoops. LeBron's her favorite player, and Kyrie is probably second. Some of her game is patterned a bit off Kyrie.

She's dealt with anxiety and depression much of her life. Came out of a tough situation. For her birthday, I tried to get LeBron to sign a card for her. I explained everything. No luck. But then I got word to Kyrie. I sent him the card. He signed it and mailed it to her.

I have trouble imagining a scenario when I would say a bad thing about Kyrie Irving now.

He signed a card and put it in the mail. How is that a big deal? Raise your standards. Wouldn’t you do the same thing afterall?

Lance Stephenson and Rajon rondon? Lol
Kevin Durant!?! Ain't NOBODY like that guy. He and Aldridge have to amongst the least liked guys in the league I would think. Butler, too.

Putting you on the spot! Most likeable Blazer your opinion?
Currently, not a bad dude on this squad. A few shy ones, but all down to earth. Nicest I’ve ever interacted with, Channing Frye, Steve Blake, Nico, Jamal Crawford. Too many to name, I will say, Dame is great. Couldn’t have a better guy to be the face and voice of our franchise.

Everytime I hear Channing Frye on an interview I think, he’d be fun to chill out with.

LeBron wouldn't do it. But, hey, whatever. I thought it was a nice gesture for someone he didn't know. Sorry for wasting your bandwidth.
