What part of Mexican culture does Rudy portray?

There is no realistic trade that we could make that would make us a contender. We just gotta ride the season out.

What part of Mexican culture does Rudy portray?

Rudy, being from Spain ( and like most from Mexico) - is Hispanic. He speaks Espanol.

The Spaniards brought the language to most of these Countries; Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Repulic, and yes, even Mexico! A good history book can help you with this!

:dunno:

Never said Rudy "portrayed" anything. Just stated that he'd be loved in Orlando! Did you ever watch a Blazer-Knick game last year when Rudy & Sergio visited MSG? (that is Madison Square Garden, not a salt substitute!) - New York's Hispanic fans were cheering big time.

Actually, Mexico is mostly mestizo - American Indian and European (Spanish, etc.) mix.

There is no realistic trade that we could make that would make us a contender. We just gotta ride the season out.

If there was a way to obtain Gortat (Center) from Orlando along with Bass (PF), we'd increase our chances heading into the playoffs.

And if we could then get lucky in a 'salary dump' scenario (along the lines of Gasol to the Lakers), maybe something that brings us Caron Butler (SF) - we'd be a contender.

Further, if we simply let Blake and Outlaw expire - and get nothing in return...then we are less of a contender for standing pat.

Bottom line, a trade has to happen - it is a matter of "when," not "if." Of course, KP could take the same route he took with Raef's expiring (nada)! This happend because KP waited too long to trade Raef and his expiring. Let's hope that Blake and Outlaw are not two more Raef La Frentz's.

The cake can bake and bake and bake, but eventually it burns....or at best - the cake won't taste very good when it is done over-baking! Time to pull this layer of the cake out of the oven....and start cooking the next layer. If and when Oden returns healthy, he'll have to be our frosting!

Amazing how many people (like Nicolokolous as many times as he posted on this thread) couldn't even answer the question of the thread even though BoomChakaLaka asked it five times

Anyway, only 4 people were right.

SouthNC was EXACTLY right predicting that both Blake and Outlaw would be traded. Nobody else was exactly right.

Three others were half-right in that they're "Top" pick, or "Only" pick was either Blake or Outlaw. Those three people included the thread starter, BoomChakaLaka, Nate Dogg, and myself, BlazerBenner.

Two, also (like STOMP) were close, but they said Two players, like "Rudy AND Outlaw", so they were half-right, but at least they stuck their neck out and picked two players. They were right that a deal would require two players and they got it half-right.

A lot of talking goes on around here, but few actually know what they're talking about when it comes down to it.

In the case of "Who's the most likely Blazer to be Traded?", only 6 posters knew what they were talking about. The rest of the posters just babbled and bitched about other's picks, but never made a prediction of their own. It's easier to bitch about other's projections, I guess.

What was the prize?

barfo

Wheres my cookie? (prize)

I had a hunch about Blake because his year was regressing and he stood around the perimeter too much. Both Bayless and Miller cut through the lanes and get aggressive.
