I thought hostel was really, really overrated. it was so hyped, then I saw it, and it was just horrible.
 
Maybe its just me being a guy, but Ive always thought Titanic was overrated.

From what you were hearing beforehand about how people were leaving/barfing. You thought it was going to be sick and sadistic. It had some moments but I've seen worse. My opinion on most overrated, probably Scarface. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the flick but people worship the movie. Same goes for Napoleon Dynamite.
 
yeah, you guys have NO idea how many people quoted napolean dynamite after it came out where I live. it's like they all had a copy of the script or something. SO annoying.
 
yeah napolean dynamite was a little funny the first time A LITTLE ebcause of how retarded it was. then everyone loved it like it was Jesus and it truly blew.

The only reason it is still so popular is kids see 'Cribs' and see how every black guy shows off Scarface in their movie collection and goes out and buys it.

I agree, Scarface is overrated. It's still one of my favorite movies though.

I'll agree with scarface, I love the movie and watch it at least twice a week but everyone was quoting tony, and saying how great the movie is and then I finally saw it and was enjoying it, and then the ending just sucked ass and made it go from a great movie to just a good moiveand F*ck napolean dynamite, worse movie ever, I don't see why chicks love this movie so damn much

F*ck Hollywood happy endings. And why should something positive happen to Tony Montana?Him dying was a emphasis on him screwing up when he was doing his own stuff. That led to his downfall and his death. Plus, it's one of the more memorable endings to a movie, I don't see how it sucks. Because it's not happy?

Napolean Dynamite. That was the most retarded movie I have ever seen and everyone thought it was the funniest thing ever. People were constantly quoting him, wearing vote for pedro shirts, etc.

The best movies are ones where you can learn something from others' mistakes. Of course, not every movie with a negative ending is going to be great, but a lot of the best movies ever have, at best, a bunch of negatives to prove a point. Furthermore, when you have a negative ending, it blurs the lines between reality and just a movie. Life isn't all lollipops and cotton candy.

Scarface is wildly overrate, but its still an amazing movie, and the ending is amazing IMOThe worst movie for people impersonating people isn't Napoleon Dynamite, its Borat, people saying Jagsamesh, Borat is funny, YOU ARE NOT!

I guess you don't get what I'm trying to say, just because I watch the movie a lot doesn't mean it isn't overrated......every stupid rapper says they have it on cribs, all my friends quote every f*cking line, and then when I saw it, I liked it but they overrated the hell out of it cause the ending almost screws up the whole movie......but I still love that movie and will continue to watch it, I just skip the ending.......that is why I say it's overrated, it has nothing to do with if I watch it a lot or not, cause even though I do it does not change the fact that is has been overrated by everyone that I know and what I saw on mtv crips with every stupid rappers saying it's a most have

I get what your saying, it's a favorite of yours that you like to watch, but overall is overrated. One question though, why do you skip the ending?
