OT Motel 6 Slaying, Suspect in Standoff with police in Southeast Portland

A person was killed at the motel 6 on 31st and SE Powell. A few blocks from my house. The suspect is holed up at 52nd and powell, and every known police vehicle has responded.

My school a few blocks away was in lock out and police officers had to come to escort students out to their parents.

I stayed at a Motel 6 on Boulder Highway in Vegas in 2006 when we moved here. Left a loaded 26 ft Ryder truck in the parking lot. Not the smartest move in hindsight.

Meanwhile a rash of robberies and break ins occur since all the cops are there for some ego juice..
