FBWFT (fantastic beasts and where to find them) was actually pretty good -- and I've never seen a Harry Potter movie :dunno:

I see everything that comes out on bluray and just finished one of my favorites of the year. Florence Foster Jenkins.

Hilarious, sweet and moving.

Just watched Army of One, with Nic Cage who plays Gary Faulkner, who went to Pakistan to capture Osama Bin Laden on a mission from God, played by Russell Brand. Fucking Hillarious. I couldn't believe it was based on a true story. The best acting by Cage in a long time.

La La Land was good but not as great as it's being made out to be.

Took my niece to see The Hidden Figures today. Really good. Crazy shit.

I watched requiem for a dream the other day.... wtf.

I'm assuming that the camera angles/scenes were pretty new for 1995? Probably even more of a shocker back then. What a fucked movie lol.

Although, Requiem for a Dream, is nothing compared to The Serbian Film. Which I do not recommend that any of you watch. That's literally the most fucked up movie in the world. I only know one person that's watched it from beginning to end.

This mention is a 2012 movie. Rent it at Red box and be Stunned,. "End Of Watch" with Jake Gylenhaal and Michael Pena. It's amazing what happens to two cops working in South Central LA. So Well Done!

Deepwater Horizon. Man that was one real FUBAR.

For some reason I've always thought Pena, was a horrible actor. But I actually like that movie! The WWII tank movie with him and Pitt, is really good.

Has anyone seen The Accountant?

I am not normally a fan of Ben Affleck's acting but he did a very good job in this one. 8/10

Saw that film in the theater. I could not figure out why it didn't get more plaudits. I thought Pena deserved a nod from the Academy.

If you liked the Korean "Vengeance Trilogy" (which included Oldboy), you should give the Handmaiden a try. It's directed by the same director and is a nice erotic nc17 movie (I'm a total perv).
