Haven’t seen blue chips.Anyone a fan of Blue Chips? Great bball movie in my book. I remember seeing it in the theater in ‘93 and just picked up the dvd recently. Still holds up. I liked that actual nba players were in it, even in background roles. Especially liked Nick Nolte’s temper tantrum scene at the start.
Blasphemy!
Nope it’s pitchforks and fire for you forever!I still got my copy of Hoosiers, will that save me from the fiery pits of hell? Tell me you got a copy of Hoosiers?
I just watched "Kingsman" with Samuel L Jackson and Michael Caine and thought it was a great, entertaining action flick.
There are a few I want to see that are still out in theater such as Mad Max, Ant Man, The Entourage movie, etc...
A few I want to see which are out on Blu-Ray, but haven't gotten around to it.
Oklahoma, South Pacific, West Side Story, My Fair Lady, To Kill a Mocking bird, 2001 A Space Odyssey.

I loved The Bridge on the River Kwai, although the survivors hated it. The Japanese and Korean guards simply weren't that human.
The Caine Mutiny was great.
Try Mr. Roberts for one of the greatest movies of any genre.
Saw Black Panther. Two forks up.
Saw this recently. WTF?My girlfriend roped me into seeing Lady Bird in theaters with her, and although she loved the hell out of it, I had a hard time relating to the story. I understand why some would enjoy it, but I just didn't.
Yeah, it just wasn't in my wheelhouse. Probably had something to do with that fact that I grew up with 4 brothers in a small town. Where-as my gf grew up in a big city, and attended church on a regular basis.Saw this recently. WTF?
I've seen this movie 200 times already. There was only one really good scene, where she hugs the gay kid who she had dated.
This was the Moonlight of this year's group apparently.
I've seen movies exactly like it a million times. It was well acted and interesting. Oscar worthy that does not make it.Yeah, it just wasn't in my wheelhouse. Well then, let's call it the Flight of Unofficial DragonsA dragon is not an official dragon unless it's Chinese.
So I was going to post to "Movies You've Seen Lately", but I wanted to focus on this particular movie. If you've heard of it (or not), I highly recommend. Especially if you're into fantasy flicks...or even if you're not. It is animated, but don't let that turn you off. It's based on a book by Peter Dickinson (who is actually referenced in the movie...meta). First saw this as an ABC Saturday Night Movie back in like 86 or 87, taped it and watched many times thereafter (even with all the 80s commercials).
Got the DVD a few years back. This movie is great on all fronts, from the animation, to the voice cast (features Jon Ritter, James Earl Jones, and Harry Morgan), to the plot. It has lots of science philosophy in it, which is one reason I love it so much. (Even covers DRAGON science!)
Heck, if anything just get stoned and watch
-signed, neeeeeeerd!
I say this one's good enough that you really don't need to, but I am kind of a kid at heart.I don't watch animations.
My days of getting stoned are over three decades ago.
