Going to watch Extraction tonight

A Magnificent Obsession
Starring Rock Hudson and Jane Wyman (Reagan's ex wife). It's a tear jerker.

Heaven Can Wait starring Warren Beatty.
Love the scene with Charles Grodin hiding behind the curtain.

Just watched Bloodshot...disappointing

Trumbo starring Bryan Cranston as Dalton Trumbo...blacklisted screen writer from the McCarthy witch hunt days...great, great film about Hollywood and the politics of a smear campaign..best movie I've seen on Netflix in a long while....Extraction sucked in my view...ugly video game type movie...not recommended.

And after you watch that, read Trumbo's classic, Johnny Got His Gun, and you will never look at war the same way again.

We watched Richard Jewell last night Directed and produced by Clint Eastwood. Interesting movie regarding the '96 Olympics bombing in Atlanta. Now I want to see the documentary on the actual bomber, (extreme right-wing wacko) Eric Rudolph.

I watched Knives Out a couple weeks ago and found it as an entertaining movie. Daniel Craig played a little different part that most would be used to. Solid cast and some good humor mixed in.

Daniel Craig was a bit funny. A British dude playing a southern detective. Go figure.

Watched The Wrong Missy the other night and found it pretty funny. David Spade has aged, but he still always makes me thing of his role in Tommy Boy.

And every time I think of Tommy Boy I miss Chris Farley. RIP.

I really enjoyed that movie.

CJ posted this on FB today and I can't wait to check a few more of these films out! 13th is an amazing documentary... going to have to re-watch that one! Gives me chills just thinking about it!

Did you know there are two sequels? All three based on the excellent Barrytown Trilogy by Roddy Doyle.
The Commitments
The Snapper
The Van
I didn't know this....I'll have to look them up. It's one of my favorite movies..Once is another one...

All three Discworld "movies." Each is actually a two-part BBC TV miniseries.

Goin' Postal, The Color of Magic, and The Hogfather.

Brilliant stories by Terry Pratchett, brilliantly presented. I think all three are still available on the Tubi app.

Watched that with the wife. A light hearted predictable comedy. A good laugh.

Also saw The Lovebirds on Nextflix too. Pretty funny

Finally watched the new Fantasy Island movie. Disappointing.
