Your son lives with your fiance?
1. Does your wife know?
2. Kinky!

I bet most people you think are rich aren’t actually rich. The technical definitions are one that most people don’t actually qualify for and that’s not because of what they earn - but the assets they own!Yes. I'm a social minority with a cheap car at least attempting to rough up the place a bit.
Given what my apartment cost, I doubt everyone here is rich. It's a pretty cheap place for inner NE.

Did you mean La Sirenita? Can't find a menu for it.Welcome FAMS! La Serinata on about 28th and Alberta...... arguably best mexican food in town.

I used to work across the street for many years. I know that area pretty well. The apartments and homes in that neighborhood have really gone down hill. Those apartments on Jenkins between Murray and Cedar Hills = better drugs.

I grew up in Oswego. Probably much nicer now but it was great for a little boy back then. I could swim in the lake, fish in the lake and Tryon creek and ride my bike all over town. I was very active.I grew up in NE Portland. Probably not quite as nice as it is now
Do you remember the Westgate theater or Earthquake Ethel's? The Westgate theater used to sit where the Beaverton Round is today. Earthquake Ethel's was on the East side of the intersection of Jenkins and Cedar Hills Blvd.I remember coming back from college and all of a sudden its like mexican gang central.
Beaverton really took a shit in the early late 90s to early 2000s. Got back on its feet.

By the way, the Cedar Hills Crossing location used to be a small plane airport. I know you wouldn't know that because it goes back to the mid 50s.
I used to occasionally go to Ethel's after work and have one of their 59 cent high balls. They had a reader board that wrapped around the dance floor that was controlled by a PDP-8 computer that was so cool.Yep. I was young for earthquake ethels but remeber seeing it when we were at the auto parts store next door.
Watched a ton of movies at Westgate. Spent much of my youth at Wunderland

Just closed on a little apartment on NE Alberta, my move in date is late May. I'm super excited to be out of the fucking 'burbs!
Isn't that where all the rich poseurs rolling around in used German cars live?

I was at Tek from 1969 through 1983. I had a friend who worked at ESI but that was in the 80s. My friend got his degree from PSU.My dad told stories about Ethyl’s, of course. He worked at ESI probably around the same time you were at Tek(?).
I've been to Oaks park about a dozen times. I also went to the Jantzen Beach amusement park even more often.I grew up in the Sellwood neighborhood and went to Oaks Park often.
That's what made him agreeing with me hilarious.Hey! He was talking about ME FAMS!
I’ll have to double check. What is the technical definition?

Must be nice...
I'm gentrified to Milwaukie.
I used to live on 28th, 26th, and 18th and Alberta.
The house I grew up in (not nice at all...) Is over $550K.
I can move to Tigard for less than $400K...
Alberta is gentrification central. I don't ever spend money on that street...
