Just sit him for the season. Get surgery and come back next yr
depending upon severity of tear sometimes they do not need surgery, just take 2-3 months to heal if on minor side

Nice to know that he won't be included in any deals.

Of course, I'll be surprised if we make any deals anyway. I'm conditioned to expect disappointment.

what's going on with Larry Nance? he's just been out forever it seems.

Mine was a SLAP tear which was a complete tearing away of the shoulder socket from the shoulder blade. As explained to me, even a small tear without surgery can heal improperly, if at all. The torn part can reattach at the wrong place and cause instability, pain and constant shoulder slipping out of socket. More than likely it will not reattach at all and will cause chronic pain. For me, I lost most of my strength in my arm as my bicep tendon was also ruptured when it pulled away from my shoulder. Naz will probably need surgery as he'll need stability in that off-shoulder to play at his high level. He's in good hands but it's still so sad seeing him go down.

He should be back just in time when the Blazers reach the finals...

in 2027.

This guy is made of glass :dunno:

Is this the same injury that Dame had? If so, maybe they thought "preventative" instead of how Dame thought "I'm a fucking machine, I don't need it!"

This is frustrating and it seems like Nas might have a problem with having brittle soft tissues. Like a lot of other things elite athletes need to have the exact right balance when it comes to soft tissue. If it's too malleable and stretchy that's a big problem because it doesn't provide them with the stability and tight exactness they need but if it's brittle then it's constantly getting torn in some way to some degree.

"Next man up" time. This guy can't sneeze without putting himself in a body cast.

This.......
Is why I often forget about this guy when envisioning a Blazers future.
I know many of you are really high on this guy, I just don't see it.
Never have.
