Much anticipated Samsung galaxy S4

Most of the review articles are written by apple or Android fanboys. Bad article here, I'm in the market for a new phone soon and I very likely will be choosing between the galaxy or iPhone. I stopped reading reviews when deciding on new phones. I just go to the store, look at the specs and play around with the phone for 10 minutes to see which one seems better

Wow that was a terrible article, Motley Fool's articles are getting worse and worse. Anyway I don't think this really hurts or helps Apple and HTC doesn't have marketing power to really make a big push despite having a vastly superior product (HTC One is amazing). People will still buy it because of the Galaxy branding.

This just reminds me that Samsung is not much of an innovator in this regard. They will be waiting ever so patiently to copy the next model of the iPhone! :D

This is true. Probably the best thing is to see for yourself and make your own damn mind! :D

Since S3 went to Jelly Bean it's been perfect. Can't see myself upgrading soon.

I've got the S3 with Jelly Bean. It's decent, but the build quality isn't that great, and the software lags a bit when more than 5 apps are open.

I like Android a bit more than iOS because of the flexibility, but never faced lagging issues with the Apple. That said, the new HTC intrigues me more than the galaxy

Just got the HTC One, upgraded from S2. This is an amazing phone. Fast, good battery, solid build.

Note 2 user here. Fucking fantastic phone. All other phones now seem tiny.

Oh lol I was thinking he said "Note to users" like people interested! LMAO! Guess I don't know much about the other phones. ;)

hahah. the Note II is supposed to be REALLY good. It's also a Samsung. Way too big for my liking though. I like how they use Lebron in their commercials. It looks like a normal phone in his hands.

Tell that to the jury that awarded apple vs Samsung on Pantene infringement

And they lost that same appeal in England, and I think Germany. In fact, Apple had to run an advertisement apologizing to Samsung. American courts are ridiculously biased.

Personally, I dislike how fat the Galaxy s3 and s4 are. I feel like they'd snap in my pocket.

These patents are for things such as swipe to unlock. I should patent push power to turn on. Some may be legitimate gripes, but a lot seem to frivolous.

I think everyone copies/borrows ideas from everyone else. Of course there have to be some limits on it, but it seems like Apple is going overboard with all these suits. Here is an article about how the iphone design was just a copy of a sony phone. The funniest part of the article is this:
Samsung also points to its F700 music player, which released in Feb. 2007.

Ironically, Apple tried to use this player as evidence, given that it showed off the iPhone in January 2007. But Apple was forced to embarassingly retract that claim after its lawyers learned that it had been shown at Cebit 2006 (Mar. 2006)

I don't really know what to make of all the suits. I don't put too much stock in Apples claims against Samsung and everyone else. And I don't really care that Apple wasn't the first to think of a smart phone. I've never owned an iPhone, but I appreciate that it has pushed the other manufacturers and we can now choose from iOS, Android and Windows (and have the option of an iPhone, Galaxy, Note, HTC One, Nexus, Nokia and on and on and on).

Apple is a piece of shit company. They constantly try to sue small businesses for using an apple in their logo.

Love my iphone. Thinking about converting the house to all apple products.

Apple (and microsoft) play hardball with competitors. Don't really follow it much or care, for me it is about the product.

Seems like swipe to unlock is original, no prior art, and should be patentable, no?

Love my SIII and the S4 doesn't seem life-changing enough to upgrade to.

Do certain companies use android, or do they all? I own an iPhone and don't understand that shit...... I guess just like PCs.
