I'm glad Ali was able to end his days in happiness and surrounded by the kind of idol worship he truly deserved. Boxers see the highest of highs but the lowest of lows as well. Ali was with a doubt the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. I think only his idol Sugar Ray Robinson pips him for the P4P title. Definitely will never see his like again. RIP Great One.

Thank you for everything you've done for me Muhammad. Lots of people hated you for what you did and how you did it (like casting away your slave name). I loved every minute of it.

I learned how to protest. My mother used you and your actions as teaching moments with regard to standing up for what one believes in. You showed draft dodgers and chickenhawks what should have been done from the beginning, stay out of the war. And you went to prison rather than defer like a Cheney or a Drumpf, (we know why there was prison for Ali but French maids for Mitt Romney) because you didn't believe in it.

You fought another fight that I don't have to. Today my ballot comes to my mailbox and I can either vote for a giant douche or a turd sandwich. Well, the douche is a chickenhawk and the turd is a war monger... or is the douche the war monger? I forget...

The people who showed us how to be real... Leading by example... they're dying... And it's a shame. You never knew me and you did so much for me...

I will pay it forward.

I just saw a quote from George Foreman. Something about Ali Frazier and Foreman are all one. Uhhh, no.

Somebody find his whole quote, I'm at the gym. Maybe I missed the meaning.
 
Larry Miller had him come talk to the team in Phoenix on our first road trip of the season. That's what the picture is from above. I was sitting in the lobby of the hotel and absolutely froze when I saw him walk in. Larry saw me and waved me over to meet the champ...... I was speechless and didn't dare take my camera out to take a pic. Told him my dad idolized him and raised me on his fights. Didn't say a word, looked up at me and raised his fist to my chin like he was going to punch me. I'll NEVER forget that experience!
 
Down here in LA working a fight for HBO. If anybody has a chance to watch, we worked all day and edited together an amazing 9 min piece on him that we will go off the air with. Almost cried while building it. If you are a fan or not, you should check it out. We go on the air at 7:30...... Probably won't run til 9-9:30.

Tell your producer it could be smart marketing to get his ass on the forum and listen to what the fans wanna hear. We could make a thread, a poll, post videos and some more shit! He could even take credit and call it something like:

"Fans music choice highlight"

Ok that name sucks.. but still you could sell it like that... lol.

Sources tell us, Simmons was acting in an unusually strange manner just before midnight when someone at his Hollywood Hills home became sufficiently alarmed to call 911. Paramedics rushed to the home and evaluated Richard, determining he should go to a hospital for evaluation.

I'm pretty sure Trump knew Ali. Don King, the big time boxing promoter of Ali's time, is a Trump supporter.

Some took Mr. Trump’s message as a slight against Ali and other prominent Muslim athletes, and others as ignorance of Ali’s religion.

Mr. Trump said the Twitter post was not meant to criticize Muslim athletes. “I’m saying, ‘What sport is he talking about, and who?’ I know there are many great Muslim athletes in soccer and other sports.”

He added, “All I’m saying is, ‘I’d like him to name them because I agree there are some. That’s not a knock by any stretch of the imagination.’”

Mr. Trump said he was well aware of Muslim sports stars. “I know who they are. I mean, look, Muhammad Ali is somebody that I’ve liked for a long time — and I know he’s Muslim.“

Mr. Gunnell said Ali had not been concerned with what Mr. Trump said on Twitter.
