Yep, he even sent me a personal message on the way out. Pointed out why he is leaving, and low and behold, his reason was the same reason many of us are frustrated with an individual here.

Fact: You created a 2nd account. You say you were testing a theory but you used that account to attack people so they wouldn't know it was you but it resulted in the same thing that happens when you post under your original name.

Fact: In the original thread this was a part of you used that other account to attack Bones unprovoked again.

Yesterday my whole intention was for everyone to just come clean and leave it at that. I've had one user name going back to when I first got AOL back in the 90's. I've used it on O-Live, Blazersedge, and now on this wonderful forum. You told me you made the other account to test a theory. I told you I didn't know what you were talking about that Sly had already named your other account. It was obviously you. I made it very clear yesterday that I have no respect for things like that. I think everyone should be transparent as to who they are. Wanting you to clear the air is not harassment unless your trying to hide something. I came late into that entire conversation.

I saw that other staff had handled it.

I wasn't negotiating with him. I asked him a question but also that question needs to be seen by others.

It was an unusual situation, buttercup, it's not your standard personal insult.

It was offensive to the person being called it. They asked the person using it to stop. And the person who was using it agreed to stop.

I think it's a great example of this community with a little help from staff coming together and ending a problem.

To go back and edit most of that away would seem to take away a little bit of the progress that I feel was made.

Staff playing favorites would mean this was completely ignored by them. It wasn't. It was addressed by staff and a solution was found.

I'm sorry that you don't agree with this. I'm sorry that you are offended by this. That is not my intention.

We have a few threads and discussions going on about why can't we communicate better with each other. I think this shows that we can.

Personally, I'm more of a fan of not editing posts so that everyone can see a poster's true colors and make their own judgements on the person.

For example, when someone makes a racist tweet, while it is really bad to do so, I'm glad I now know that person is racist.

Too many people, especially young people, are influenced by that crap. To me it's like graffiti on an overpass.
