Personally, I think that if you feel the need to acknowledge suspected multiples, PM a mod.

Well we could, but then that would be making it a bigger deal than I think it is. I think its kinda fun to call that BS out, but it ain't nothing to get all worked up about. Seriously. When Do I PM Mods complaining about anything????

But if you guys really want all that extra messaging and work. I suppose I could post what I would post and make it go into PMs to mods.

Though probably a non issue because now I know he is back, he went back on ignore.

Or you could use the report function. Either way it's a lot less "work" than monitoring a 35-post back and forth arguing about the accusation.

Not really, if you're claiming that other people are him that aren't--I believe that's the primary issue he's been in to address today.

Personally, I would really appreciate if people didn't feel the need to claim posters are other people in disguise. Why does it even matter? If we were to actually simply focus on responding to the content of posts rather than worrying so much about who is saying what, then whether or not someone is a "multiple" or not would be irrelevant.

Well for one, Tunchi was banned and is now on his 6th name in the short time I've been here. He's even flaunting that it's him and he's still around by having his avatar picture be the same picture as he had as his twitter picture for awhile. It's fine if he is given another chance and is respectful about it but I think the minute he turns back to the old Tunchi he should be banned again. How many names and chances should someone get though?

As for Cup, I forget what thread it was in but it was somewhat implied by a mod that he decided to take a break because he was close to getting banned after several personal insults about Bones' upbringing and family life. He came in under a different name and went right back to insulting Bones again. You think that should be allowed and we should just not call him out on it?

In my opinion, everyone should get one account. If they want to change their name and let everyone know about it then fine but I don't really see a reason to start another account unless it is trolling or deceitful both of which hurt the forum.

As I said to OB, I personally think those issues should be brought to PM. Specifically to Sly, since he's the only one with the power to ban accounts.

However I acknowledge that's just an opinion, not any kind of forum rule or decree.

I don't see the value of arguments about who might really be whom derailing multiple other threads. Hence me moving all of these posts into their own thread.

It was so simple even a platypus comprehended it. Nice to have an intelligent platypus on board. I even took it to pm and he continues in this thread along with buttercup. I have never used two usernames at the same time and only used the one to test a theory of mine and it proved out to be pretty accurate. I knew SPD had the ability to see ip addresses and didn't really care as I could have easily concealed it as there are so many programs out now days to do that. What it really shows is how easily riled and how full of lies and bullshit some are in here along with how quickly they engage in derailing a thread.. Too bad as there are way more quality posters that have made this place enjoyable.

Once again you are trying to spread a false claim. I was never warned I was close to being banned and only left the forum after *edited* made a public slam on me and brought up a post I made to him in private and I asked SPD if he would remove it as I don;t think anyone should ever be allowed to make such childish overtures about anyone and especially to bring in a private message (which really wasn't even bad). Why do you continue this narrative. Stick with what you know and quit making false statements about me or anyone else. Can we actually end this now and if you need to continue we already have a pm going.

so one Mod can make a rule for members and another mod can allow members to break that rule? Seems like thats going to create some serious chaos like we haven't experience before. Even more Chaos than normal.
