Either you're slipping Ron, or perhaps your top 100 list has expanded? Or perhaps Old timers has come early and you simply have forgotten? Or perhaps you're saving the best for last?
I could have sworn you once told us how you get out of bed each morning to this classic, epic, multi-platinum all time favorite top number one tune!
Or perhaps you're merely leaving the pleasure to me, which in that case I must thank you!

Great with any enhancement you wish........... Great from 1:32 onwards

Probably the most incredible vocal performance I've ever heard...she was given no lyrics, and this was totally unrehearsed.

In the recording studio, Pink Floyd didn't even know what they wanted from her...Clare Torrey (from the 1.02 mark) nailed it on the first take...simply incredible.

One of the earlier LA concerts I attended, at the Hollywood Bowl, July 11th 1975. Gordon was touring in conjunction with the prior release of his "Sundown" LP.
This tune has been stuck in my head for 47 years!

The story of Clare Torrey's Studio performance is/was, will forever be: truly amazing. Merry Clayton's vocal break on Gimme Shelter is a similar story... Tho' imo, Torrey's performance is in a league and world of its own,... her own.
