I mentioned this in another thread but suddenly, I think Thomas has become the favorite for MVP. Here's my vote if it happened right now:

1. Thomas
2. LeBron
3. Kawhi
4. Harden
5. Westbrook

Durant would be 6th if there was such a thing.

How would you vote?

I like the Thomas pick KS....outside the box and really deserving...it hurts because of my dislike for the guy but I have to say Harden is pretty high on the list as far as what I think MVP means...Westbrook and Harden are both playing better than Lebron to me...I almost have to say Westbrook would win the tie break

I think you could replace Thomas with 10 other point guards, and they would be doing just as good, if not better. It's gotta be harden or Westbrook this year. My vote would Westbrook though.

for all around performance and value to their team, kinda has to be Westbrook imo

If 10 other PGs could average 30 ppg, why aren't they? If 10 other PGs could lead the league in 4th quarter scoring, why aren't they?

Isaiah Thomas is having a pretty amazing year. I'd still vote for Westbrook and Harden ahead of him. Probably LeBron James, too. James is basically being forced to expend a ton of energy in the regular season because, outside of Irving, no one else can break a defense down and create for teammates. That's why he's been bitching in the media about needing another playmaker. And James does a while lot more on defense than any of the other guys here. Thomas would come fourth for me.

Jalen Rose and Chauncey Billups were just on ESPN and they both agreed, that even with how nice of a season that Thomas is having, that the MVP is strictly between Harden and Westbrook and that it is too close to call at this point. Pick one or the other.

Whomever gets to play against he Blazers _efense the most games.
