The only advice I can give, as a fan of podcasts, is this.
Invest in a decent mic and camera.
Don't cry on the air, it's just sports.
Be level headed.
Have a format/set schedule. Rambling on for hours makes it feel like you're watching some gamer and those videos are only good if they're edited and condensed a TON.
But mostly, don't insult your audience, you jabroni.
I actually have a really good mic. I like the headsets. I don't really like the microphones sitting on the desk. If I don't fire up the software though, for some reason the mic doesn't work as well. Definitely have some first-timer shit I need to deal with.
