Big deal, you say?

Well, it is if your team hadn't posted back-to-back winning seasons since 1966!

In fact, that particular record was the longest in any professional sports.

So, hats off to you, fellows! Let's make it three-in-a-row next season!

No, not really.

Previous to moving to Atlanta, I had never lived in a city that had an NFL football team. Same applies to MLB baseball, as well......as I'm a Braves fan.

If it has anything bearing on the Blazers, though, I could NEVER, EVER root for the Hawks! Heh, should have seen me at some of those Blazer @ Hawks games.
