After being hit by a car while riding his bike, a U.K. teen was told by a woman in the vehicle that she couldn’t stop to help him because her kids were late for school and his bloody face would scare them.
According to reports, 17-year-old Taron Stead was riding his new mountain bike in Sheffield last Friday when a man and woman rushing to get their kids to school during morning commute hit him. The woman, who was in the passenger seat, reportedly got out of the car and informed the teen that his bloody, injured face would “upset” her kids and that they were already late for school. The woman got back into the vehicle and the suspects drove off without exchanging any information with Stead.
