Reading this thread and the first thing that popped in my mind was Buc'ees. As much as it pains me to agree with HCP he is right on this one. Texans love to think everything they create is the best, but one of the few things I will agree with them on is Buc-ee's. Massive gas station, no semi-trucks allowed, cleanest public restrooms you'll ever find and pretty much any snack and/or food item you could ever dream of on a road trip.
