I think a big part of why this isn't fun anymore is the people who are smugetive. Smug and negative.
I'm going to be honest, it's not Maris, Marazul, El Presidente, etc, who make this place unbearable at times. They actually make it entertaining at times to be honest.
It's the people who come here and only show up when the team is losing and pull the "See? I'm right about everything and the team is horrible and you're a loser for continuing to be a fan of this go no where team!

This place used to be kind of a cool place to hang out and talk about the team. Now we have far too many people who take themselves waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. They either can't let anything go, have to be right all the time and never admit they're wrong about anything and make it really difficult to engage in an adult conversation about the team.
Why do you think the game threads are not as popular as they once were?

You don't, at least from my recollection, show up only when the team has played bad, and proclaim your view point as correct and that anyone who disagrees with you is somehow a moron for believing differently than you.
