My son I haven't seen in 8 years

Long story short, I had a short relationship with this woman after my first divorce (1 month). I got her pregnant and we broke up during pregnancy. Anyway, she left after a couple years after my son was born and I couldn't get in touch with her.

All the while, I still kept him on my insurance and tried people searches all of 7 years and couldn't find her. A couple weeks ago, I saw a kaiser bill that showed my son used the Lancaster Kaiser (where I lived). I used a revised people search and found him.

I contacted the mom and arranged for a visit. This is what he looks like.

I got him a cellphone so he can contact me anytime. Since the visit, he's called me 2 times a day. I'm excited that I can rekindle our relationship.

He's 10 years old now.

That's awesome! Kinda fucked that the mom didn't keep him in your life. How do your kids feel about it? How does he feel about now having to be a Blazer fan?

Yeah I was pretty upset about it for a long while, but I guess it's better late than never. My kids are excited cuz they remembered him. They would blame me for why he wasn't around. It was a battle.

I am going to forget about the past and work on the future. I still have a lifetime left to work on our relationship.

Awesome! Sounds like you have the right emotions about it, let the past alone and concentrate on the future.
 
7 years of unused health insurance is an expensive search method. Enjoy him while he's young! He'll toughen up and ignore you in a few years.

This is really cool mags, but I have more good news, I'm your son too! Playing catch will be a hoot dad, but I do expect all my allowances retroactively. And I'll need to borrow the keys to the Porsche this weekend.

Thats a real cool story mags. Really cool to hear how you never stopped trying to find your son and in the end it paid off.
 
Does your mean ex-girlfriend have friends who drive a gray Dodge Challenger?
