The Washington Mystics waived center Chasity Melvin and forward Angel Robinson, General Manager & Head Coach Trudi Lacey announced today. The Mystics roster currently stands at 13.

Washington recorded victories over Eastern Conference foes New York Liberty and Chicago Sky in preseason contests earlier this week. Including their scrimmage win over the Chinese National Team on May 21, the Mystics have started their 2011 contests undefeated.
The Washington Mystics will tip off their 14th season on Saturday, June 4, on the road against the Connecticut Sun at 7:00 p.m. Washington's home opener at Verizon Center is Saturday, June 11, at 7:00 p.m. against the Chicago Sky. Season and group tickets for the 2011 season are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Mystics Sales Office at 1-877-DC-HOOP1 or by visiting the Mystics website at http://www.washingtonmystics.com/. Individual tickets for the Mystics season are currently on sale.
