I'm not sure if maxiep will disagree with the basic idea the NY times is saying, legalize in federally and then leave it up to the states. A state issue, not a federal one. If his state wants to keep it illegal, that's their right.

Alcohol is a far more dangerous drug.

Isn't that pretty much the situation now? States do what they want and the feds don't interfere?

I thought the federal government was shutting down various dispensaries, regardless of the legality at the state level. Though I've probably lost track of actual action and saber-rattling.

What about punishment for all the politicians and legal system shits who turned the country into a police state over this issue?

Is the Times realizing the socialist agenda is a complete failure and moving on to embrace Libertarianism?

You could read that for 2 hours or...

Save time. Just ask me. I lived during those political moves.

I'd ask you, except I've caught you presenting a history that wasn't.

I've caught you a lot more than you've caught me.

Think of how free you'd be on this board, if only you just made my account disappear.

But you need an anchor. Without my nagging, you'd become a heroin addict.

I don't want to change history. History is there for all to see, except where the liberal WWW sites remove posts and articles to hide their failures.

Think of how your account has not disappeared.

Of course, the NYT wants to ban smoking tobacco everywhere. But letting you smoke weed wherever you want? No problem.
