It has been my fault for not staying on top of the mod core here.

That being said, the title of the thread applies to mods first and foremost! So posters, let me know via pm if someone continues to post in that manner both from the past and in the future!

We have a simple rules here:

1. Have fun. You cant have fun when posters and especially mods are combatant and belittle you and your opinions on the Rangers

2. Post with others the way you want them to post to you!! No name calling to each other(players, teams, etc is fine) No belittling someone because they feel different than you do about the Rangers!! You are all Ranger fans, not enemies.

I have talked to the mod in question. We shall see what unfolds.

That being said, we have enjoyed having all of you here. We want your stay to be a pleasant one! It can't be when people attack you daily.

You should also look into people's posts being deleted by the "mods" here when your opinion doesn't coincide theirs. Childish I know, but true.

2 things pissed me off today Chuck:

1. That dump got in trouble with the admins because some asshole reject ratted him out to them because this supposed "adult" couldn't handle Dump being mean. Hurt his feminine feelings apparently.

2. That the admin comes here blasting Dump with his stupid exclamation marks trying to look like a fucking hero to his children "hey, if someone's mean to you, let me know, i will take care of it".

If we all remembered this is a message board for sports nuts then we wouldn't have morons ratting Dump out and would take the banter here as adults.

Then, to top it off, DennyCranne's post shows how clueless admins are to what regularly goes on the boards and just come over to try to be hero's.

Some of that is fair if true, especially the part of the admins not knowing what is really going on but knocking the mods off the word of a random poster. So I hear you there. That's fair. They should do some due diligence if they didn't.

And I 10000000000000% agree with you on the ratting people out thing. Man up people. You really need to cry to a mod because someone was mean to you on a message board...come on now.

With that said, a lot of this stuff can be avoided if we all just stayed above it and focused on the team and game. We can disagree, but we can do it in a civil way. We shouldn't have to resort to calling people out or calling people names. That would cover 98% of the stuff that happens here. There will also be trolls that pop in and cause issues, and that is where the admins need to do some due diligence on the validity of the complaint, but overall let's all stop the BS stuff. No need for it.

I'm not sure what exactly happened so I'm not putting blame on anybody or anything. All I can suggest is whatever problems exist we can all act like adults and work it out. I've been posting along with Dump for years and what you see is what you get. He has never changed for anybody and while he might get on some folks I'm sure he would just as soon grab a beer and talk Rangers with you. We're all Rangers fans and want the same for this team. Cut Dump some slack as he doesn't have the Reggits of the world to yell at anymore.

Trolls and their posts SHOULD be deleted. That shows real members of these boards that you actually do care about content and having good conversations, not useless posts only posted to stir up trouble.

Was out all day and just got online and noticed this thread. Don't know who complained but I kinda doubt its any of the regulars that have been on this site since the summer when dump pretty much brought us all on board and I'm glad he took the time to find a site for us and invite us all in. After the nonsense on the espn board which I viewed but rarely participated because of troll dopes like ddd whose main goal was to just instigate and aggrevate everyone else and was a walking encyclopedia of useful knowledge. I don't know about posts disappearing but if they were the same kind of antagonizing nonsense that I just described I'm glad they were deleted. There is a lot of give and take on this site and different opinions are allowed and argued back and forth and the names that are called to me is no big deal and goes both ways. I hope dump isn't banned for whatever reason if that was the purpose of this thread and I hope dump and 31 continue to get rid of the obvious trolls who come on with their agendas that ruin the board for everyone else and keep the actual ranger fans from posting. So far to me this board has been great and with the added yankee site attached is easy to use and informative for us ranger and yankee fans. No need to force growth as the boards rep will speak for itself and other ranger fans will eventually find it and post also. I really like this board and hope nothing and no one is changed

I came on this board and posted some comments about the Lundquist deal. None were taunting, simply brought up some points, in a polite and respectful manner. I dont mention the Devils and dont denigrate the Rangers or their fans. All of my posts were deleted, by either you or Dump. None of them violated the acceptable use and a few other members here responded, politely.


If I was being nasty to someone or "trolling" I'd have no issue. But I was making valid points, you just didnt like them. Sorry Bro.

If you want this to be a closed group where you and Dump get to pick and choose who joins and what they are allowed to say, then go buy a server and an internet connection. Until then I think you need to follow the rules

Al, not really concerned with board not growing that much as information is gotten and disseminated pretty quickly hear which is what I'm interested in. Maybe an answer is if you and others are posting on other boards
and have some posters there you think would be good additions to this board to simply invite them to join and participate with us.
