Not trying to rain on your parade Totus, just thought maybe you'd like to get involved in a little trivia.

I'll name the leading stars & you guys name the movie. We'll start out easy,

#1 Dustin Hoffman & Meryl Streep

Thanks Totus.

Right BigAl.

Movie #2.......................Jane Fonda & Michael Douglas

Damn, I didn't think this would be so hard.

Wasn't Robert Mitchum in 5 Card too....? seems like it, another great actor, under rated by today's standards. I'd watch any movie by Mitchum in the day...! D-Day now that was a great movie full of leading actors....

Movie #5 - I'll make this one a little tougher. Then I'll put this on hold till after the trade dead line so we could have a few more players. Okay here it is....

Audie Murphy & Burt Lancaster

Great movie & one of the early ones for Redford. Jane Fonda also was young in this. Not to mention quite attractive.

Mattingly23=4
Totus=2
BigAl=1

Movie #8 = Spencer Tracy & Robert Wagner

Remember all, you're on the honor system.

I don't recall that movie

No one has guessed Movie #8 yet. I guess I'm going to have to make them a little easier.

Had to google this one. Interesting concept, surprised there hasn't been a remake of this one.

Hard to believe Robert Wagner is 84 years old.

Thanks for not giving it away. Someone may get it. If not after a while I'll just move on to the next.

Actually that's a trick Question, cuz Tracy and Wagner were in 2 movies together, maybe more,

but I do recall The Mountain, and Broken Lance...

and Wagner was more or less just a kid in those movies, with Tracy...

Damn I didn't think anybody was going to get that one. I was about to start making them easier. But I was referring to the Mountain so you got it.

Current count is...

Mattingly23 = 5
Totus = 2
BigAl = 1

Movie #9 - Walter Matthau & Kirk Douglas

The Duke is one of my all time favorites.

Did you guess movie #5 & remember you're on the honor system.

The Duke was well....the Duke of Westerns, GI Movies.....

Me-personally I like Eastwood's loopy Spaghetti Westerns over Wayne's Classics. Not saying I don't admire John Wayne. Just liked the scruffier meaner Eastwood characters....

Nope no cheating, Boy Scouts Honor...most of these movies, I've either seen at theater's, drive ins, or own quit a few Classic Black and Whites. Still I enjoy some of those B&W's, over their Turner colored versions.

It looks like movies aren't Ron's thing so you'll probably run away with this one. Still thinking about #9?
