By position meaning PG, SG, SF, PF, Center. in order. Now I'm sure this will change but it will give us another thread to look back on in the future.

Not sure I get what you mean. There are 5 positions you want top 7 for each position or top 7 for only 5 positions?

Also in what order? Most favorite to least? By position? Tallest to shortest? What year they played?

Why top 7? Seems like a lot. How about top 5 for each of the 5 positions?

How about top 2:

C: Bill Walton/Arvydas Sabonis
PF: Maurice Lucas/Rasheed Wallace
SF: Cliff Robinson/Scottie Pippen
SG: Clyde Drexler/Brandon Roy
PG: Terry Porter/Geoff Petrie

I'm sure you just don't want to put Bonzi, Rider and damon in any of the top 5.

My order.

PG: Terry Porter, Damian Lillard, Rod Strickland, Lionel Hollins, Damon Stoudamire

SG: Clyde Drexler, Geoff Petrie, Brandon Roy, Jim Paxson, Larry Steele

SF: Jerome Kersey, Cliff Robinson, Kikki Vanderweghe, Nic Batum, Scottie Pippen

PF: Sidney Wicks, LaMarcus Aldridge, Buck Williams, Maurice Lucas, Rasheed Wallace

C: Bill Walton, Arvydas Sabonis, Kevin Duckworth, Joel Przybilla, Mychal Thompson

Greg Anthony, Brian Grant, and all those guys from our championship area who have their jersey retired, and who have yet to be mentioned, are honorable mentions.

Power Forward could almost go any order. It is by far the hardest one to rank imo.

Small Forward is the weakest. Pippen probably shouldn't be on there as he wasn't here long and he was on the downhill slope. There just isn't many good candidates at that position though.

Heeeey!! I made it into someone's siggy! :ghoti:

We'll see if that comes to pass or not....

Top 3:
PG: Porter/Strickland/Lillard
SG: Drexler/Roy/Paxon
SF: Kersey/Pippen/Kiki
PF: Wallace/Williams/Lucas
C: Walton/Sabonis/Lopez

You really don't like LMA huh? Not even a top 3? lol.

Very close to my list but LaMarcus Sheed and Lucas are my PFs

Glad to see Rod Strickland get some love here. That guy could have been the best pt guard to play the game if it weren't for his battles with alcohol.

LOL at no Aldridge on that list. 3-time All-Star as a Blazer and just entered his prime. Your posts are just so comical. Also, how about Duckworth at center over Lopez? Let's at least see Lopez in the playoffs once before you crown him.

I overlooked the Duckworth omission, at this point he's ahead of Lopez no contest

My top 2:

C: Bill Walton/Arvydas Sabonis
PF: Maurice Lucas/Lamarcus Aldridge
SF: Cliff Robinson/Scottie Pippen
SG: Clyde Drexler/Brandon Roy
PG: Terry Porter/Damian Lillard

Petrie started at SG.

Because he played absolutely no D (terrible shot blocker) and was nowhere near the rebounder Lopez is....

Come on slackers! I know it is hard to do 7 but at least do 4 at each position. 5 was easy for me but I wouldn't have been able to do more then that at most positions.

But it's so much easier to just comment on the other folks lists

I'm only doing a starting 5

PG: rod Strickland
SG: drazen petrovic
SF: clifford robinson
PF: Rasheed Wallace
C: arvydas sabonis

PG: Lillard, SG: Drexler, SF: Kersey, PF: Aldridge, Center: Sabas

You have that starting 5 and it wrecks teams

You know I was wondering if people would put drazen petrovic on there list? Also nobody has yet to put Steve Smith on?

Nobody put Petrovic because he barely saw the court as a Blazer and didn't really do much in the NBA until he went to New Jersey. Clearly that guy's post was a joke, anyhow. Strickland the best PG? Cliffy the best SF? LOL
