was wondering if we'd sign him, somewhat of a risk but at that price probably worth it, love it if he could get back to last year's form, wonder what guarantees or opt outs there might be?

Slightly less than MLE-money. Frickin' steal (not that he is worth more than MLE at this point just that some other team would have given him more when they could).

After Zach Collins I thought the team was actually learning something. I guess not.

4 year for 28 mil. Average 7 mil per year. Is it a steal? That's pretty much the Bi-Annual exception money.

I thought he would get 13 to 15 mil per after last season.
Not with his injury history. He's decided not to bet on himself. He didnt want to end up as one of those 1-2 million a year player that waits to get signed every year. I love Naz and think he's talented but he has yet to be anywhere close to a consistent contributed.

Kevin Porter Jr got $20m per year today and Nassir gets $7.
of the entire contract kp jr got only 15-16 mil is guaranteed in the first yr,, he has had issues in the past and Rockets protected themselves very well

Yes, team friendly deal. He is the same age as rookie Keegan Murray. He showed in January what he can do, and still can get better.

Damn that's not a lot. If he can fullfill his potential that's a steal. And if not, it's not that bad.

Nas has the physical attributes that you can't teach, he is athlethic and has shown earlier in the year that he could be a solid player. 7/year is a good deal. He now has even more incentive to work hard if he wants that 9-figure contract. Go Blazers!

Just fyi... 7 mil aav is like tax payer MLE level. It's impossible to find anyone of Nas' caliber for that kinda cash. What are you griping about now?

I am done with players who can't stay healthy. At best they are unproductive and worst they disrupt the team by flitting in-and-out of the line-up.

as someone said...it's a contract that matches his upside while accounting for his injury history. And if nothing else, it will become a fairly tradeable contract and decent salary filler in a larger trade. Also, considering he's making 4.2M this season, and his 1st year salary of the extension is probably somewhere in the 6M range, trading him this season, if it comes to that, won't carry any significant BYC differential. Although, maybe with the extension he can't be traded this season?...anybody know?

all things considered I probably like Little's 4 year deal more than the deals for Ant and Nurk
