Very interesting. The Rangers should have drafted this guy, but passed him
up for McIlrath. As it turns out, McI was a project and Fowler stepped right in.
Though this looks like the real deal.......thought Nash could get another player
in the deal. We shall see. Indeed, just a worthless rumor!

No. Rangers should have drafted McIlrath. Fowler is an overrated piece of trash. He's basically Tom Poti version 2. He's soft. I don't want anything to do with that guy on our team. Only good part of his game was supposed to be offense and he sucks at that also in the NHL.

If people here complained about Yandle, oh boy is Fowler is going to get absolutely eaten alive. Yandle is twice the player Fowler is on both ends of the ice. I agree we need that type of player badly right now, but I hope there another option.

I remember wanting to draft Fowler that year but man, he definitely has not developed into the offensive force he was supposed to be. Pass on him.
